Mio hears a somber song, but it it always seems to end abruptly as the tempo picks up. Mio is also able to hear Periw sniffle a few times as well as almost hear her speaking in a hushed whisper.

Garnt gives one last glance to where the Beast was beforehand, before sighing. He was glad the fight went so well, but he doubted things were as simple as they seemed at first. Things rarely were.

But that could wait. Was there anything left of the creature that hadn't already been taken?
