Alan finds Anna unconscious, a bone protruding from her arm. That has got to hurt.

Ian finds he is unable to move his arms. Upon looking down, he sees why. The beast's tail is speared through his stomach, his blood slowly pooling below. It's only now that he is wracked with unimaginable pain, the cause for his lack of motor function. He realizes he has taken 30 damage.
