The unidentified man continues to toy with his flower. "If you'd get me out of here I would be in your service."

As he makes this plea, a literal truck full of miners turns the corner and begins accelerating towards the Party, all of whom are about a quarter mile away. At the same time, even more miners are clamoring on top of the roofs of the various shacks surrounding the Party from every angle, armed with military style machine guns and rocket launchers.

"You're welcome to stay in my home until this all blows over." He doesn't appear to be too concerned about everything happening.

While all of this is happening, Big Daddy and Little Sister inexplicably walk out of a nearby alleyway and rejoin the Party.

Chryssa scratches her head, looking at Mio for a moment, before averting her eyes.

[SOLDIER First]

Eirika tilts her head quizzically at Chryssa, holding up her polearm.

So presumably the majority of the party abstained or voted to go for loot like the few who voted have.

The party progresses through the dungeon; every now and again there are indistinct shapes on the edges of the light, but Kasumi and Sachi manage to get the party around them. There are a few close calls at dead ends, but for the most part it’s fine. The chain-sound Kenji mentioned is at no point audible, so it seems they’re safe from that thing for now.

They finally see a chest, but with one of those shapes in front of it. "There's probably more than one. They look like this until we get close enough for a fight, usually. Ready?"

Big daddy looks to the party.

"What did I miss?"
