Meanwhile, the Donchaka develop a very unorthodox way to board up the windows, though when they run back they find that Anna and Lynch are holding firm (along with Kyle boosting the power of the aura, of course); between Lynch girth and Anna's aura, shotgun shells and thrown weaponry is simply just bouncing off them. Once the miners realize that their attempts are futile, they back off and head outside, where they disperse into raiding other adjacent parts of the train. Screams, gunshots and the crack of metal hitting bone are the main sounds that fill the air.
Volx peers into the mind of these 49ers, asking them why they have to be so violent and what these innocent people have done to deserve their wrath. Volx gets a mental response from his prodding that all fall under the same general answer: "Fuck Seattle!" "If they're going to keep us living out here, then we damn sure aren't going to let them drive their fancy trains through our homes!" "This is 49ners country! I'll kill every man, woman and child wearing teal and green!"
"This, this is bad, we should get out of here. The train is fucked....woah, what?" Beneath Aesford's feet is a prominent red X right where he is standing, that hadn't been there a second ago. In fact, beneath everyone was a red X proportional to their size, even each of the Donchaka had a corresponding small X that had appeared out of nowhere. Each of these X's was accompanied know by a dotted red line that stretches from where each person is standing to outside of the window and deeper into the Favela.
Aesford feels a chill and looks behind his shoulder. "This is mega creepy, does anyone feel like we're being tailed?"
