The Rusted Key seems to be pretty normal, apart from it's unusual size. It has as much magic as you'd expect from a key.

The Velvet Key though... something is magic about that. Alan can't tell what, though.

"I guess. Just seems really wierd to me that it seems there more people who share naming conventions we've never heard of than people who have out naming conventions."

"It's made out of velvet and something else."

Nah, it's more weird that we're all mostly human.  Except for the eldritch snuggle goddess who is still humanoid.  And also really nice.  And Tourmaline who is also humanoid but less nice.
