The Donchaka march towards the entrance of the Cheesecake Factory, a delicious slice of giant cheesecake interposed over the entrance of the restaurant when they are blindedsided by a new monster! From the corner of the street, a four-legged beast with spotted fur, pointy ears and a long tail lunges at them, barking at them incessantly. The only reason it does not reach their position is that is restrained by its neck, tied against a nearby street lamp.

Anna restrains her tears. It's not as if this city with boundless energy that was likely a few centuries ahead of her home, technologically and in size was completely overwhelming or anything.
A small mobile streetsweeper root bumps into Anna's ankle, and then readjusts its course around her.

((I figured it might be something like that. I think the future/Utopian aspect of NFL!Seattle still applies, in fact, it exacerbates Anna's recalled trauma.  It's as if the city is saying, "You know that time you fucked up and a ton of people died and your home got destroyed! Look at what it could have been if you were better! This place is awesome!"))

Fouradon lets loose an Unearthly shriek of terror roar of defiance, and has to be held back as he screams right in the animal's face.

Otherwise, they manage to withhold him, and plot a safe route into the factory where they can offer their services improving morale, productivity, quality, and offering their personal services as well.

Lupapon goes into the "Sheds and Aristocrats", looking for something that even a novice could understand.

Fouradon, while quite bloodthirsty, is not what we would say strong of mind, and is quickly calmed.

Idou pumps bot of his fists into the air. "JUSTICE PREVAILS!" He does his signature Idou Pose for about two seconds before getting glomped, along with Chizuru, by their daughter. Asuka is gushing at a speed that one would believe is boosted by Parov Stelar. The few words recognizable seem to be "AWESOME", "SO COOL", "BADASS" and "I LOVE YOU GUYS".Simuna is breathing heavily, but seems to be at peace. She looks around and, after a moment's hesitation, decides to lie down in the snow and take a breather for until it magically disappears.

[SOLDIER First]

Wilson stands sort of over Simuna.

"..Good job in the battle."

She nods. "I hope I don't develop a fear of birds after this. Maybe hate, but not fear."

"...I have an irrational fear of tight spaces."

"Really? I once knew someone that had a fear of blood.
Didn't ever see him after initiation, though."

Wilson nods. He considers it for a moment and then sits down in the (rapidly melting?) snow.

"Really. I can't stand them.
..Er, a sniper trainee was afraid of blood...? That seems..."
He lets it hang.
