"Hey, uh, just calling to check in on you...You kinda vanished all of a sudden.  You didn't get lost or anything, right?"

[Trans:But I said the exact opposite of that?]

[Ah. MY apologies. 'Sarcasm' is not my strong suit.]

Indeed, Yamal may be satisfied by the sound of cracking bones. It seems these guys can only take so much. Or their armour's worse than Penelope's. Probably the latter.
Wilson's shots also provide cover, this time for Yamal as some of the remaining still-standing armoured troopers are shot down by the courier, preventing them from shooting Yamal. Meanwhile, some of Yamal's potential victims are slammed onto nearby walls as Pluton, recovering from the impact of being smashed into a wall, blasts a beam of radioactive energy at them.

Yep. Yamal is continuing to have the time of her life out there, beating down faceless mooks and grinning while she does it. Since they're armored, she can even throw them around extra hard! _{And she doesn't feel in any actual danger, what with machine-gun CIWS and an overpowered repair crew.}

...probably best to leave her alone until there isn't anyone left to punch, honestly.

Sandra now finds herself in the abandoned warehouse with Aesford and co. preemptively arming themselves against the strange figure standing in the darkness behind the Artifact.

She hastily ends call and turns the phone off.

She sees everyone inside of a warehouse gathered around an important looking pedestal and a scary shadow person.

Garnt unsheathes his sword and looks at the vaguely-humanoid creature, but does very little otherwise. Starting a fight when it wasn't known if the creature was hostile or not... Well, the temptation was there, he wasn't going to lie, but that's not how things work around here.
Pluton recovers, and continues his growth. Woo.

He begins to blast homing lasers towards the enemy soldiers.
