Evridiki grins now, a confident grin, and pulls a cross (Orthodox) out from under her shirt, jingling it lightly to emphasize the first part of the little speech she suddenly breaks into.
"Well, I'm not really mostly guided by the Almighty, even if I do believe He is up above, but I am guided by something. See, when I became a medic, I took an oath. I took an oath to brave danger and death to help those who are in desperate need, and I take that oath seriously, as an oath should be taken. It's what drives me and guides me -- so if the universe or whatever tells me I need to go fight monsters, I'll go fight monsters and patch you all up while you do that too, because I can't think of any greater fulfillment of that oath than saving the universes."
