"Hm... They certainly seem nice, but I do not believe I'll be retiring Lahja just yet. What about you, Penelope?"

Penelope is busy checking her wallet, before she realises something.
"Oops. I left my gun license at home too....I'm not sure how gun laws are around here, either."

[Sl4cker]

She sweatdrops. "You would leave your gun license at home...?"

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"Ah, nope. Here it is. I'm sorry."

[Sl4cker]

"... Yes, of course." She mumbles something about "airheaded civvies".

[IamanElfCollaborator]

Simuna is found with Lahja shoved down her throat with a sign on her head saying 'HOW'S THAT FOR AN AIRHEADED CIVVIE'
"Hm? I'm sorry?"
Penelope picks out a relatively modern-ish handgun, testing its weight.

[Sl4cker]

simuna comes back as a ghost
with a gun
"Nothing, nothing."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"No, I heard something."
Penelope keeps the gun pointed down and away from Simuna as she continues examining it carefully. Expertly, too, Simuna might note.

[Sl4cker]

"Perhaps it was just the civilians outside?" She nods at Penelope's gun usage, as if expecting it.

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"No, your voice is rather distinctive. I'd rather you not lie and we settle any grievances, okay? No bad blood between us."
Penelope hefts the gun carefully.
"Alright. I just need a holster for this and some ammunition."

[Powder Miner]

"Didn't you spend like 10 minutes telling me that the 'years' in a game are just perception tricks?

Besides, it's fun."

"That... isn't what I said. It was still a mental span of years on your end, it's just that what was in them was made up. And I... really don't want to go through that.""

[Sl4cker]

"We just met, how could there be any bad blood?"

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"I distinctly heard the words 'airheaded' and 'civvie'. Unless it wasn't towards me, in which case I apologise again."
Penelope responds as she collects a leather holster and some ammo, going over to the counter to pay for it all. She also grabs a gun cleaning kit.

[Sl4cker]

Simuna rolls her eyes. "You would think you would be able to brandish a gun licence at a moment's notice, you know? Forgive me for commenting on it."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"As I said, I'm sorry, I thought I did leave it home. It's not going to happen again. I don't know how it happened in the first place."
Penelope puts her holster on, slots her gun in and puts her rounds and kit away.
