((I was asking TBF as a sort of reminder, to avoid a situation like Penelope's.))

Try to get to some higher ground overlooking the path to the base.

((She wouldn't necessarily look for an exit button, but she's looking for the advanced setup.))

((Which would have her slightly worried.))

Alanis finds nothing else.

Try to get to some higher ground overlooking the path to the base.

Victoria goes away from her normal routes and goes instead up a mountain, so she can get to a more elevated level. She can hear the whirr of something in the distance; she spots flying red gunships heading towards her friendly base.

Look through the scope, see how many there are, report the number to the team.

"Well then..."

Look for help.

Then if that fails, look for any sort of emergency escape sequence.

Alanis finds nothing else.

There are exactly three gunships. When Victoria reports this and they're location, one is immediately downed by heavy Blue laser fire, crashing into the forest. The two other split up, one going for the base while the other heads towards Victoria.
Help is not found.

....Alanis wakes up in a large cozy bed. The room is ornate and Rococo, she is wearing a nightgown as well. A woman in a maid's outfit opens her door, "Lady Alanis, is something wrong?"

"Why would anything be wrong?  Is something wrong?"

She scans the room, looking for the bedside accoutrements.

[Twinwolf]

Victoria didn't fire; how does it know where she is? Regardless, she's not stupid enough to try to shoot the pilot or whatever. She heads back down the mountain a bit to take cover, trying to find somewhere that would conceal herself from the gunship.

Simuna coughs at Wilson's direction. "The weapon demonstration?"

[SOLDIER First]

Wilson scratches his head, and continues to have voiced (in front of Simuna) that he somehow did not remember that he had a complete breakdown five minutes prior, also in front of Simuna, and then he nods.
"Right, sorry."

Then he aims his plasma pistol at the nearest unoccupied dummy, steadies the weapon, and fires.
A small blob of bright green plasma forms on the front "dish" and is instantly expelled at a high speed - noticeably slower than ballistic weapons, however - into the dummy's chest.
