[SOLDIER First]

"T-The Great War of 2077..?"

[Sl4cker]

"... The one in 1914, actually. So you are from the future, too, then?"

[SOLDIER First]

"Sort of.. What year was it when you left?"

[Sl4cker]

"1940."

[SOLDIER First]

"...2281."

[Sl4cker]

Simuna places a hand on her head. "At least the time gap is getting smaller..."

[SOLDIER First]

"I guess..?
Well, I'm... not sure about yours, but my Great War involved... lots of nuclear weapons, and an ensuing radioactive holocaust. I live...-ed in one of the wastelands that came from it, the Mojave Wasteland on the West Coast."

[Sl4cker]

"I... see. There were rumors of nuclear weaponry around my time, but I do not actually know much about them."

[SOLDIER First]

"What sort of rumors?"

[Sl4cker]

"They said that some science-folk discovered a way to destroy entire cities with bombs as small as a fist. I didn't believe it."

[SOLDIER First]

"You should start..."

[Sl4cker]

"I figured."

[SOLDIER First]

He nods.
"It.. could be used for energy, too. Pretty much everything was fusion- or fission-powered by the time the War happened."

All evidence of sniffling and patheticness seems to have vanished. Good.

[Sl4cker]

Simuna smiles slightly at Wilson's regenerating confidence. And then raises an eyebrow. "That does not seem safe in any way at all."
