Contagion seems shocked. He hugs back though. The first thing Penelope would notice, is his face. It's covered in scar tissue and red infected areas. She might recognize it as old but heavy chemical burns. Its texture rather leathery to an extent. He's bald, as well.

Penelope doesn't comment on the burns or his appearance and just hugs him anyway.

"My instincts tell me to put on my mask and run but... it's a little late."

Penelope gives him one more squeeze before stepping back, staring him straight in the eye- or staring down at him, depending on how tall her is. She doesn't seem the slightest bit fazed by his face.

Contagion looks Penelope in the eyes, back. His eyes are a striking blue, which greatly contrasts the horror of the chemical burns.

Wilson wins again and is up to 30, woo. Also, even more free alcohol is offered.

Contagion nod, not breaking eye contact.
"..I've never realized how much my mask dies down color. Your eyes are beautiful, if you don't mind me saying."
He smiles a warm smile.

Penelope smiles back.
"So, shall we get back to the table? I'd prefer if our friends don't get into trouble."

Contagion continues smiling and staring for a moment, then nods.
"Yeah, sure. Let's do that... and if you don't mind..."
He puts his mask back on, twisting a few metal bits around the neck area. A hiss is heard from the mask, and he grunts before standing.

Then penelope kinkshames him
Penelope leads the way back to the table after waiting for him to get ready.
