As Penelope would try to escape, the dancing circle gets tighter and tighter. Her exits become closed off. This was a disaster, all around her, twisting and jiving bodies...

Enelope is into it. Maybe a little too much.

"More, less grimdark, than directly opposite into noblebright.

Like, there isn't the definite slippery slope, but there are still the crazy cultists and all.

And then there's, like, Gandalf.

I think Penelope needs rescuing.

Oh the irony."

Penelope sighs, closing her eyes. Her cheeks are reddening slightly from embarrassment.
"Alright, as you insist. I-I didn't want to do this....I'm sorry."
She takes her glasses off and begins dancing.

Enelope, and anyone who would be looking, would realise that contrary to her protests, Penelope is a damn good dancer. Seems all that gym practice was worth for more than just building muscle.

She seems to be dancing in a way that's both good and pushing her way through the crowd to escape, too. How convenient.

[SOLDIER First]

Wilson's halfhearted dancing become quarter-hearted and he stares, entranced, at Penelope.

[Twinwolf]

"She seems to be doing a good job herself. I'm not much of a dancer, but I think she's good at it."

[TheBiggerFish]

"She is."

[TCM]

Enelope is dancing but her style is no longer emulating The Twist. Enelope takes liberties with her form that will leave images burned in Wilson's mind forever, causing him to never look at Penelope the same way again.

"Wow-wee. Looks like we have ourselves a winner, ladies and gentleman." A spotlight shines on Penelope, who finds herself receiving a hearty round of applause.

Alanis politely applauds, blushing sympathetically.

[SOLDIER First]

He watches the both of them dance; their steps, how they.. move.

Penelope's cheeks are rather red, as she continues attempting to escape while dancing.

Penelope throws Alanis into space and uses her magnetism powers to close the resulting hole
"You, Contagion?"

He seems to ponder for a moment, then just shakes his head.

-Now-
Contagion watches Penelope dance, however, doesn't participate.

"You know what, I feel like doing something incredibly silly and probably embarrassing to remember.  So let's dance!"

Within fifteen seconds she's on the dance floor and dancing quite well for an amateur.  And she's rapidly improving.

Penelope would accidentally bump into the waitress from before, who presents her with her award: a golden trophy topped by the figures of a stereotypical 50's man and women dancing couple. On the bottom is a plaque that reads, "Best Twister of the Night".

Enelope, enraptured in dance, is getting close to Wilson. Very close. Oh dear.

And now Alanis is on the dance floor. Could this be construed as a challenge?
