He begins pointing at most of the menu that isn't steak, beef, or chicken-related.

"Aha.  Can I be seated next to them?"

Alanis indicates Penelope, Enelope, and Wilson.

Penelope explains each of them as much as she can. She knows quite a bit, unsurprisingly.

((Literally murders Alanis, just let them eat, and restaurants don't do that IIRC))

"Thanks.."

Penelope smiles at him.
Wilson sees his Pip-Boy glowing black and crushing his wrist as she draws Milo and stabs him with it

"Are you with that party? If ya' are, there's an open chair next to them on either side!" Alanis must make a pressing decision: sit next to Enelope or Wilson. This decision will ultimately determine who she likes more and which of them teams up with Alanis 500 pages later during the plot, 'Rise of Mecha-Mussolini'.

Enelope inquires Wilson's situation, "They don't have salad or ice cream where you're from? How sad."

Contagion awkwardly sits with Penelope and co. He was hungry... as indicated with his growling stomach.

Wilson wonders where Contagion came from (unless he was already there).

No, it determines who finds out that Penelope is actually a cyborg-Pyrrha 1000 pages later during the 'Return to Remnant' plot.

It's not a big deal for people to just come in and sit next to the Team by the way; they are sitting at a bar, not their own table or anything.

The waitress slips Contagion a menu. Classic American style food galore, hopefully he wasn't looking for anything vegan or low-cal.

Enelope, on her own, has requested a large bowl of onion rings an appetizer for everyone in her party. It is delivered to them within 30 seconds, truly a marvel of diner-esque fast food.

Wilson steals all the booze (easy, considering his Pip-Boy) to offer to his Boat Goddess flips shit about retroactive open seating murders Alanis for daring to sit near him / his Waifu of Infinite Faces hesitantly tries a ring of "onion".

Alanis orders mozzarella sticks and some sort of overly complicated mix of soft drinks.  She takes the other seat.
