Chartre winced and looked at his arm, before looking grimly at Chryssa. "...something happened. But we need to get you out quick." Chartre kept a bit more distance as he attempted to cut the chains still, making SURE his Semblance was active in case it had been Semblance oddity that had hurt him, and in case then that his Semblance had not already softened the explosion.

Enelope walks towards the bustling shopping district. "This place is really commercialized for a space station, isn't it?"
Aesford grins and pulls him out of the wreckage. "Get on your feet boy! We got a duel comin' up." The Cornerback then pops the trunk and looks at the swords laying there, scratching his chin contemplatively as he decides on one.

"Well, I wouldn't know much about this. In my world, this is all but purely theoretical."

"You aren't in the space age? You would think that with all those people that can go into space and the alien attacks..."

Sandra looks surprised.
"S-sorry..."

"Sandra...No.  Not your fault.  You don't need to apologize to me.  I need to apologize to you.  I'm the one that was practically committing psychological torture.  It's my fault that this happened.  And whoever's fault..."

"Oh. We technically could send something into space, and we have sent stuff into space. We just don't have anything like this."

Judging by how it doesn't happen again after Chartre's semblance activates, it's probably some effect of Ian's semblance.

"You have aliens, right? Maybe you should talk to them."
Aesford eventually decides on this.
