"So you're a vigilante then?"

"Technically, yes. He is one. Of course, the government doesn't mind all that much, long as they go up against the villains and don't hurt civilians too much. If they do, that's what the Heroic Union's for."

[USEC_OFFICER]

"That sounds... terrible. I can't imagine how things must be like in your world if the government is willing to tolerate such conditions. I'm surprised that it hasn't already collapsed yet with a stronger organization arising to take its place," Alice comments before taking a sip of her tea. "A situation like that would certainly not exist in my universe."

"Your universe doesn't have giant monsters and supervillains rampaging through the city every so often, and your government doesn't have people fighting the good fight on their level to keep things the way they should be. It's hardly a fair comparison."

Anna blinks. How? Why? Her parents were just fine not even 10 minutes ago.

((It was back when it first emerged from the ground. here let me just post it again: Grimm))

Morana cackles upon seeing Anna, "Decisions have been made. You get to choose girl. Your Parents or The Faunus they oh so lovingly tried to protect~?" A Mammoth Grimm approaches with a cage full of her town's Faunus population. Morana cackles, "You would have loved to see when I captured them. So valiently up until The flower there 'rescued' the pair. But I still got all of the beasts didn't I?" Anna's parents are letting out angry muffled screams at Morana, "So pick girl. The Parents or the Faunus." A hard decision to make.

Sandra doesn't answer.

Anna stares. How on Remnant could she possibly make that kind of decision. She is gripping Vindicator tightly, but makes no move yet, looking between the cage and her parents. On one hand, that's a lot of people. People her parents were trying to protect. On the other, her freaking parents.

"Hurry, choose. I might get bored and lose it." Morana laughs again.

"You're right. My universe merely has the Supernatural interfering in it, with monsters, creatures and magic everywhere waging war at the expense of the common people. My mistake." Alice's voice has a hint of sarcasm in it. A very heavy hint. She rolls her eyes and pulls out her supplies from her bag. It doesn't take long before she has a cigarette in her hands, working at it with an angry expression on her face.
