Kyle looks around before shrugging.
"I'm Kyle. I'm a Interdimentional scientist. As for what's happening... fuck if I know. I'm just looking for some material to get a portal on the ship I'm staying on up to code. Seriously, thing is unsafe as fuck, bound to tear a chunk out of the hull at some point."
He sighs at the lack of professional portal parts salesmen.

"I am Alice Fowler, reporter for The Times. It is good to meet you, Mr Kyle. I hope that you find the materials you need to complete your project. The last thing we need is an accident to hurt anyone."

Kyle nods. He pauses and tilts his head.
"Like the New York Times?"

Alice thinks for a moment and then shakes her head. "The New York Times? I've never heard of them before. The newspaper I work for is based out of London and has been doing well despite the recent invasion."

Kyle says, not wanting to accidentally panic someone by telling them they aren't in their own universe.
