"I hope the other new arrivals aren't half as bad as he is; they were on the bridge earlier but I was more involved in getting set on fire."

Kyle walks by the pair with a plate of lasagna.

"Hopefully so."
"So, is there anything else you want to know?"

Suddenly, a large Half full bowl of icecream skitters across the table, coming to a rest in the middle.

"And for desert, at least 43% magic icecream, epic flavor."

"I still have no idea what it does, but it LOOKS tasty!"

She nods.
"What's.. What is it like, where you live?"

".....so, apart from that, are you okay?"
"How is it like?"
Penelope thinks carefully, tapping her chin, before adjusting her glasses slightly.
".....it's....okay, I suppose. I have a small apartment, got everything I need. I have a good job, doing what I love. I mean, yes, the city gets attacked every other day by supervillains or giant monsters, but......you get used to it. And it makes for great news.

There's the upsides and there's the downsides, but I can live with them."

Eirika opens her mouth, looks briefly at Kyle, and then shrugs.
"At least you know someone's looking out for you.. The wasteland changes people."

Mio also looks over at Kyle.
"Good point. Still. Maybe I should take you there, sometime. Just so you know what a.....relatively normal place looks like. Only not when there's a giant monster attacking."

[SOLDIER First]

"Wait, is that-- is that possible?"

"Well, if they took us OUT of our worlds, wouldn't it be logical that I could take you to mine somehow? If only I knew how to....but maybe that gem person you were talking about, or the other girl, might help."

Kyle looks back at the two girls. After a moment of silence he speaks.
"Aren't you two a little young to be fighting universe killing monsters?"
