Ian shrugs.
"Yeah... you do need to learn to take a punch."

"And you need to learn how to throw one."

"You're alive, aren't you? I didn't say you needed to do it alone. I'm not intending on dying either, and everyone back home would kill me if I let you die."

Anna decided not to disengage the hug to punch Ian in the jaw.

"I'm just thinking of all of the people dying on our own world from Grimm... With all we've learned here, we could really help out... and I miss Falu..."
Chryssa is clenching a fist.
'I-If I left... would you come with me?"

[Twinwolf]

"You want me to be honest? Yeah. I would."

Chryssa smiles past the tears then looks to Ian, as if asking the same question.

Ian smiles at Chryssa.
"Sure."
He convieniently leaves out the fact that he'd technically be going with her no matter his answer due to being from a different timeline so she'd still have the him from her timeline.

Chryssa stands, shakily at first, but eventually becomes sturdy. She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath. She looks around to her comrades, and smiles a little.
"I-I need this... I've got someone that means everything to me on the other side of this portal. Thanks for your friendship, and your assistance up to this point in time. I'll miss all of you. Even if some of us never got along, you'll be missed... Mio, I'd like to specifically thank you for your companionship, level head, and understanding. You're strong, and don't ever give up out here. Maybe we'll see each other again in the future. Who knows? Keep up the fight for me, will ya?"
And with one last wave, Chryssa jumps into the portal with her two peers.

Ian leaves off with a mumbled thought of 'whatever happened to those soul bits I grabbed...'.

[Twinwolf]

Anna stops a moment at the edge of the portal. "Sorry guys. But make no mistake, I'm not forgetting this. I don't think everyone will believe us, but there will be people waiting, weapons in hand, if the Trespassers show up. I hope we'll meet again."

With a wave, she falls backwards into the portal.

"Well that puts rather a damper on our combat capacity.  Assuming no shenanigans.  But, uh, probably shenanigans...

Nevertheless...I wish them luck."

"It is done. Turn yourself now to the conditions of those poor devils who remain, Alanis."

Sandra is still asleep.

Mio nods as the Hunters leave.

Her own desire to go home is overwhelming.

But she can't.

Not after seeing the stakes. Yes, she COULD go home and take back her normal life, but that would be trading fighting one abomination for another type of abomination. She could be with her friends, but she would be abandoning those who needed her most.

She promised to make the world better. Not just for her. Not just for her sister. For everyone. To give up that chance would be unconscionable.

Although she wishes to go back, she knows she cannot. Not in good faith.

And so she steels her resolve.

Privately, however, she hopes Eirika, at least, doesn't leave yet. Otherwise.....her resolve would likely falter.
