Mio's face has rather mixed expressions. Some determination, yes, but also some fear, some worry, some disappointment and some....hope. Hope that Eirika stays, at least.

"I think they meant, what time relative to when they left."

Alanis doesn't say anything, but her eyes dart between Eirika and Mio.

Chryssa steps towards the portal, temptation filling her eyes. She looks up at everybody else, and it's clear what she wants to do, then proceeds to stare down at the portal once more.

"Even though I do want to go back to my home, I know I have many friends there to protect. I think you have your answer, as I no doubt think everyone is thinking the same as me." Tourmaline places a hand on Chryssa's shoulder, "If you think you need to be with her, then go. No one will think less of you. In truth, they would trust you even more. Having someone that means the world to you is an experience that no one can take from you." Tourmaline turns turns back to the Entity, awaiting for her fellow teammates to make choices.

Aesford falls to his knees overwhelmed with grief, sobbing hysterically. Lynch places a hand on his teammates shoulder and remains quiet.

Chryssa similarly falls to her knees, and begins to cry. She grasps Anna's leg for some support.
"I... I don't know what to do! I'm s-so conflicted..."

Anna, who had been attempting to keep her cool, now failed at that task completely as one she regarded as far stronger than herself broke down. "I know. I understand completely. I want to go home. I want to go home so, so badly."
She was crying too. She also felt that Chryssa needed a hug. And she also needed a hug. Therefore, Anna hugged Chryssa. "I want my life back. But... if the Trespassers win, it'd be pointless. Everyone would die. And I'd know that I could have tried to stop it."

Chryssa returned the embrace.
"I-I promised her... I promised to come back as s-soon as I could... but I have a duty here, whether I l-like it or not."
She clutches harder to Anna.
"What if I die, and this was my only opportunity to return home to her...? I-I have her family heirloom..."

Motya raises their hand and asks, "What about those who wish to go back home to acquire supplies and equipment? I am quite eager to continue this work and investigate so many interesting organisms, but I would hardly be of much help if I starved to death! How terrible!"

"Then don't die. You're the strongest person I know. Stronger than me, definitely. If I can survive this far, you can do it easily."
