Eirika stands up.
"Alanis, if you do anything other than exactly what you are supposed to today, and it puts anyone else in even the slightest danger, I will personally throw you to the Vertex. Do you understand?"

Sora breaks out a chalkboard and plops it on the table.
"Everyone, calm down."

"Anna, I have been listening.  But unless you're controlling my magic, you're not preventing me from casting.  And if it works, that is good news and we can transition to a faster plan, and if it doesn't, even less harm.  One five-second period of less than optimum nuking.

Eirika, I will kindly ask you to stop, because you have even less knowledge than I do, and while Mio has more knowledge than both of us about this particular situation, it's not unprecedented that this five seconds' worth of trying will result in a benefit."

Garnt looks at Aesford.
"Actually, who are you?"

Alanis pauses for a second and attempts to calm herself down.

"Look, I'm convinced that we should plan to use Mio's plan.  But if my idea works, we should have a plan to usr it to optimum effect."

"That's the problem, Alanis. Your plan is not a guaranteed success. Have I not impressed to you the risks and the stakes involved? Five seconds is all it takes for something to go wrong."

"Which is why we START with your plan and then if my idea works we go for it."

Eirika slams her fist on the table.
"I will not, because I refuse to stand idly by while--""--you presume yourself to be everyone else's equal. How quaint, Alanis."

Sora breaks out a chalkboard and plops it on the table.
"Everyone, calm down."

Aesford draws a vertical line down the middle of the chalkboard. At the top of each section he writes "Ship Team" and "Jukai Team".

"...I am going to have to agree with Mio and..."
Garnt looks at Aesford.
"Actually, who are you?"

Aesford jukes his head back and places a hand on his chest to signy great offense taken. "My God, you're telling me I'm not famous in every universe? This is a tragedy."

"Alanis, I will not hinder your plan, but I will point out that it is incredibly risky, and if anyone ELSE wishes to hinder it, I will not stop them. Be warned.

However....thank you, Aesford. We must discuss who will protect the ship, and who will protect the Shinju-sama."
