I'd assume ENG would know better than to simply assume that Sandra's heartbeat doesn't normally go that fast, given he's never heard it before and he has no idea of what a tentacled mutant girl's anatomy is like, but eh. ))

"Irregular heartbeat. Unless I can get a statement from her that it is normal, I want to be able to watch so that she does not go into cardiac arrest. In case you don't know what that means, She might have a heart attack."
(he is assuming that since she is human looking, that most of her anatomy is the same as a normal person, tentacles-he-has-not-noticed aside.)

Sandra's heartbeat is irregular in that what would normally be the 'first part' of it is last, and vice versa.

Ayane looks indignant that he'd assume that she has no idea what a heart attack is. Before she can give him lip about it, Hikari speaks up.
"......how can you be so sure that's a normal heartbeat? She's not a normal person."

"I also have healing magic. First aid training doesn't tend to be useful against giant lasers."

"She's very close to human, So I am going off of human anatomy. That's also why I want a statement from her that it is her normal heartbeat before I take my eyes off her health."

"She should be fine otherwise, given that she doesn't seem injured otherwise and we basically poured the mother of all healing spells into her."

"Shall we go, then? I'm concerned, but then they all basically shoved us out..."
