"Okay, here's a rundown of what I remember about this stuff.
The being we're dealing with, tentatively designated Dark Samus II, emerged from a reaction between the liquid form of Phazon, that is, those crystals, a Metroid Prime, Samus's power armor, and Samus's genetic material.  The last time this happened, it... Ended badly, shall we say.  However, we're dealing with a completely different individual.  And I think the last time it was actually the corpse of a Metroid Prime.  So, those bones were actually the exoskeleton."

"Anywho, we definitely have a new individual,with the capacity to reason.

The problem is, Metroids cannot phase through walls and I am willing to extend that to kinetic force fields.

Are we sure this was real, and not whatever that fake acid glorp version was?"

"Also, all of the Metroid Primes should have been dead, and the Phazon gone, because this is after Samus blew up the planet with all the Phazon on it.

...Let me back up a bit.

When we first encountered the hovering figure, which may or may not have been a Metroid Prime, I encased it in a field of kinetic force, which it completely ignored.  Metroids do not IGNORE force.  Maybe not NOTICE it as much, but it would have had to break through.  It didn't."

Okay,so that makes TWO theories.
One:Metroid Primes and Phazon survived Phaaze's explosion, and the space pirates recovered said, apparently hoping to rebuild what the original Dark Samus had made.  Or just have a power source or something.

Two:All of this was a fake by acid blood entities.  This Dark Samus is just taking on a convenient plot hook.  I believe I saw a trail of dark smoke not normally attributed to Ridley, which may have been the entities inadvertently making their presence known.  If this is true, Not Ridley became a Not Metroid Prime and then a Not Dark Samus.
All of this weighs on whether, hypothetically, Phazon and Metroids could have been anywhere else but Phaaze, and, following from that, how likely it is that the space pirates would reclaim it.
Samus!  Tactical question!
How sure are you that ALL the Metroid Primes were on Phaaze?  And-or the Phazon?
