If the Metroids are not busy being dead from spontaneous ice crystal formation in whatever they're made of, Alan will apply brute force to the problem.  And stay behind the wizard.
((The freeze was a prepared action, as Alan was approaching the scene, this is the actual combat turn, at least as I see it.))

The armored figure gains tremendous speed while sprinting and quickly picks up Ian and heads towards where he came from.

The Beast roars and begins stomping towards where the Armored figure and Ian ran towards

With a sudden gust of wind, the figure stops, allowing Ian to fly into a roll on the ground near the others. The figure points towards the forest and turns around, her arm cannon at the ready.
