"Yo octo-pussy. You like football?"
"I like it more than a lot of other sports ^__^"

So, from what I could gather, they thought it was some kind of war, that they were transported there via anomaly to fight against some kind of foe they called Trespassers. And it was just my luck that we happened to match their description of one. They also didn't react to favorably to anything to comparing it to a simulation as some infighting amongst them quickly showed, so with that in mind, I decided I'd keep quiet about our opinion on the whole charade.

I did of course report the matter, not that I didn't expect my sensor readings to be watched by others, any sort of threat like that is definitely a concern, even if spoken by dubious sources. Still, it had our usual countermeasures ready anyway, made easy by the fact that they were always ready anyway, including the dire ones that, though not bearing the cheeriest of prospects certainly beat nonexistence.

BOXWOOD attempts to track down each of the persons the argument centered around and speak to them. If he does find them, he'll speak in his usual, cutesy voice and then leave without waiting for a response.
Spoiler: Tourmaline (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Alanis (click to show/hide)

In either case, he ends with the same parting statement:
"In truth, everyone is going to hurt you, whether they want to or not. You just need to find people worth suffering for, because they'll be doing the same for you. Think, is this really worth all the tears?"

Sandra's tentacles don't seem to be doing the upholstery any good.

It That Embraces hugs... well, everyone, probably, at some point. ENG excepted. But definitely Alanis and Tourmaline and Boxwood, in some order or another. The cute/hardboiled catsquid doesn't seem to faze the Primordial in the slightest, by the way.

For Alanis in particular, though, It That Embraces has something approaching disappointment. [Are you telling me my wounds are not real? You saw them, you felt them, did you not?]

Motya eventually ends up in the same room as BOXWOOD and notices the being. They make a noise like a shark at a boyband concert. "Look how absolutely adorable it is! Those cute little tentacles! Those wonderful ears! I cannot wait to examine it in great detail! How exciting!" Motya walks over to him and starts caressing, hugging and patting BOXWOOD with their manipulating tentacles. At the same time, they collect another sample for their collection.

Sandra is  not hugged as she is too busy being asleep.

((That is what you think. The snuggle train knows no brakes, apparently.))

((Fahrenheit has more granularity for day-to-day use, Celsius is better for actually doing math with.))

((Nnnnnnno. Not at all. Celsus is just as granular due to things called 'decimal places'. Besides, for day-to-day use, the difference between 1 degree Celsus is pretty insignifiant. Your cake isn't going to be ruined if you cooked it at 352 degrees Celsus instead of 350 after all. I'm not sure about the scientific bit, but my initial instinct is to say that the difference between them is equally small. They are just different arbitrary scales of measuring temperature after all.[/rant]

Don't ask me why I get so worked up over stuff like that. I just do.))

"... What the hell is that thing?"
ENG would have noticed the strange second extra-dimensional being shaped like a cross between a squid and a cat. He seems a bit confused.

I figure at some point, you're just gonna run outta fucks to give and just off yourself whenever you get hurt at all. It's not like there's any downsides to it. Hangover? Suicide will fix that. Stubbed your toe? Suicide. Headache? Suicide. Papercut? Suicide.

Ian is looking pretty peaceful as he watched the movie. After a minute or so he turns to Eirika and smiles at her with all his usual charm and charisma. Which is to say, much like Gatsby, it's hard not to like him.

"I like that guy," Aesford states as Boxwood floats off. He makes no attempt to follow it however; he sits and considers GOATs.

Anna is around.

((By the way, Boxwood would not have been able to see the partially-rock feet. Earlier in this in-game day, most of the female party members went shopping and Anna actually got some shoes.))
