"Yeah, but it makes you look like you just walked out of either a fun dungeon or a ren fest. And it does fit your new clothes. And while the metal has some value as protection, we can just as easily get you a mask that's better at protecting your face."
Ian says resting his weight on his left leg and assuming a critical stance.

Alanis waves as she passes by the room Eirika and Ian are in.

"_{Fun dungeon...?} You realize I wear the mask to hide my mark, correct?"

"Yes, but you'll look stupid wearing that one in more modern places. Do you like looking like an idiot?"

"Don't think they particularly care."
Ayane leans on the wall next to the door where Ian and Eirika are. Judging by the lack of noise downstairs, Chizuru and the others must have left for the night, and Mio's little brother and Sachi must be asleep.

[SOLDIER First]

"I would rather "look stupid" than have people questioning the mark every few steps, Ian."

Eirika shoos Alanis.

Wait, what even...SPATIOTEMPORAL ANOMALY DETECTED.

"She'd probably be able to get a mask for herself if she wanted a new one."

Alanis starts returning to the lab again.
