From that description of what you're looking for, some kind of pagan/wiccan thing or other might be the best fit for you.
MSH: Helgo and I had long discussion about his Catholicism, and why he was still a regular churchgoer despite being not much of a believer (I don't think he'd describe himself as a Catholic Atheist the way I do however, I'll let him speak for himself on that one), which opened me to the whole idea of being a Catholic without believing the metaphysical stuff behind it.
A bit later, my grandmother died, and among the various duties we had was to find a ceremony. She has always been anticlerical, and the family in general (on my father side) is quite godless, so a church service was out of the question, but both me and my father realized we missed the kind of rythm in one's lives the Church provide. I also knew some really fine Catholics, and I envied the community and social life they had at the parish.
So I mulled it over for a few weeks, and took my decision. I was going to visit Helgo for a music festival anyway, so I decided to ask him to baptize me into the Church. For one thing, I liked the idea of having the man who first opened my mind to the idea of being a Catholic Atheist to baptize me, and also I knew he wouldn't ask embarrassing questions such as "Do you believe in God", as a normal priest might.*
To my slight disappointment, Helgoland didn't show the slightest bit of surprise when I asked him, out of the blue, to baptize me. He was like "Yeah, sure, do you want it now?". I declined his offer to baptize me in his bedroom, which lacked the proper decorum, so we waited until the music festival that was on the banks of the Rhine, where Helgo, magnificent in my kilt, baptize me with a water that tasted faintly of chemical waster.
*That's the reason I've not done my confirmation yet. That sacrament, unlike baptism, cannot be done by anyone, so I'd need to find a really open-minded bishop.
