Come to think of it, how well do mechanical Abilities actually translate into freeform situations? As in, if during a freeform segment before combat even properly begins, someone casts a shield or summons something, would that carry over into proper combat? Would a God Hand blast apart objects outside of combat as effectively as it does during combat? Could Kurosawa resolve every hostage situation ever by just burning her Limit Break on Serpent's Judgement on the hostage-taker?

Cleansing Bolt: Charges a paper talisman with divine power, and unleashes it in a directed blast. Overlays on Basic Attack - Swift Talisman.
Limit Break - Serpent's Judgement: A graceful counter that blows away a foe with a god's power before they can act. Overlays on Cleansing Bolt.

• Level 1: Cleansing Bolt adds 50% of attack damage again as Pure Damage. This Pure Damage is halved if the target uses a defensive action. Serpent's Judgement completely negates the target's action and attacks them with a Cleansing Bolt on their turn instead.
  
• Level 2: Cleansing Bolt now adds 65% of attack damage again as Pure Damage (+15%).
  
• Level 3: Cleansing Bolt now adds 80% of attack damage again as Pure Damage (+15%).
  

Sealing Storm: Strikes numerous targets with a swarm of paper cranes. Overlays on Basic Attack - Swift Talisman.
Limit Break - Banish Burst: An expanding field of talismans explodes outwards, blasting away lesser foes. Overlays on Sealing Storm.

• Level 1: Sealing Storm turns the attack into an area of effect at 50% power. This only hits Minions and Encounters. Banish Burst is unlocked after 5 Turns have elapsed and prevents additional Minions and Encounters from entering the battle for 3 Turns. Both share a 3 Turn cooldown.
  
• Level 2: Sealing Storm now hits at 75% power (+25%). Banish Burst now deals Typeless Damage (completely non-elemental but still affected by RES and other defenses).
