Speaking of actions, can someone find the actions for my plot? They kind of got lost in all the HERO plot posts.

And speaking of actions, something about capital-A Actions: There needs to be some kind of default cooldown, I think, to stop people from spamming high-damage actions or many-hit actions with no variation. As is, it'd be completely possible to make a character with one or two good attack actions, which they level up to hell and then have the rest of their actions be passives.

I disagree with the cooldowns by virtue of upgrade caps forcing upgrades to be used on other skills anyway, potential bosses just binding skills anyway or encounters having targets which may require different approaches than 'hit it until it dies'.

Strike Raid is better than Transform Attack. It's a level over it

Explain? And why are you asking someone who's not a GM?

Basically would you rather still keep the system where the maximum Level of an Action is proportional to the user's level? Or would you rather one more like an RPG wherein they have arbitrary maximum levels that never increase?

Because you're the other person asking for a nerfing, albeit through a different means

Oh great, for some reason you've now got me thinking about how a pseudo-freeform combat system wherein everyone just gets dealed a bunch of stunts, actions, and adversities for their characters to be involved in and has to figure out a way to "burn" as many of them as possible by the end of the combat sequence as possible.

Sort of like half a script of an action movie. Would certainly make it harder to power game than a regular freeform system
