weh, I feel like my formulas are getting overly complex, but otherwise they seem balanced to me, i dunno. I did take most of your suggestions into account, though. Well, except the last one, that requires Word of GM.

What's a good baseline for defense, btw? Subtract RES from damage, do a RES roll to resist, what?

Res is directly subtracted from damage anyway. Anna (my primary character who is on a plot right now *glances at Sanure*) has enough that on the last plot she just outright nulled all but one of the boss' attacks on her.

I'm trying to figure out what the point of defending without a dodge attempt would be, then, since Haruka isn't going to be dodging shit.

EDIT 2: Leaving aside my curiosity at how a battle droid can use the Force in the first place, I question how 6AR would be able to detect the whole "meguca to witch" thing with it, even given how vaguely defined what the Force does and does not do is.
