Or for that matter, pestering USEC for his systems since he also likes doing these kinds of things. :P

On the one hand this is true. On the other hand I'm not 100% interested in making a mod for the system to allow grid-based combat. Let's be honest here. It wouldn't really add much to the game nor be pretty interesting.

The issue is, very few plots have mooks and it's unlikely it would work on bosses or mini-bosses.

My plot will have a lot of mooks in it. Honestly, it probably won't have a boss at the end. Just a giant ball of mooks to wade through.

Called it. I don't know where everyone seems to be getting the impression that there's only minibosses/bosses in plots. Only San's Metroid plot had purely bosses, and it only had two 'true' bosses, more or less. And one of those was a miniboss.

-The Yuki Yuna plot had the Bovus Vertexes and the Mus Vertexes.
-The Borderlands/Pikmin plot had the Bulborbs.
-The Hyrule plot had Poes, albeit unstatted.
-Twin's and USEC's are confirmed to have mooks.
-Mine will likely have kaijin and other assorted mooks as well if I have my way.
-Even the two RWBY plots had Grimm, albeit unstatted.

We fear, so we work to prevent another example of Boss rushes.

also, why not boss-mook battles, Super strong mooks, with no immunities.

Or multipart bosses, where if you stun the arm, fantasttic, it has 5 more.

Or minimized effects, like if a status is resisted, it does something more direct, like buff the user or deal damage.

Yeah, the boss-mooks were the Bovus Vertexes. Also, my point is that there's no plot that can be called a boss rush, bar the Yuki Yuna plot and the beginning one, and at least two of the fights were against mooks or super mooks. :P

Call it Bias, but the only two plots I remember being a part of were the beginning one, Kj's enjoyable diplomacy one, and the latest, where my usual skills had alternate effects and a nasty unexpected penalty.

so it is probably my own fault, and certainly won't be an issue from here on.

Your plot will have white people as mooks?
