Reconsider spending of DEX points.- Overwhelming Power (Perk): If Alanis has struck a foe with Kinetic Slam the previous turn, a percentage of the damage is added to Kinetic Slam if Alanis uses it on the same target this turn.
- Calculated Murder (Perk): When using Kinetic Slam, a percentage of Alanis' INT is added to her SYN.
- Kinetic Slam (Active): A Ranged Magical Attack with Multiplied Damage. No tricks, no gimmicks, just raw power.
- Solid Force (Free Action): May be used when Alanis is using Kinetic Slam. The attack is considered to be a Physical Attack.
- Pent-Up Power (Passive): For every turn Kinetic Slam is disabled, Alanis gains one stack of Unleash. When Kinetic Slam becomes re-enabled, all stacks of Unleash are removed and she gains a proportional 1 Turn damage boost to Kinetic Slam.
- Kinetic Mage (Passive): Bonus to SYN rolls for Kinetic Slam. Its damage is also raised by a percentage.
Overwhelming Power is a replacement for
Untapped Potential. It trades versatility, reliability, availability, and consistency for scaling and greater offensive power. Target someone else? You lose the bonus. Can't use it this turn? You lose the bonus. Target dodges? You lose the target. Target guards or gets a defensive buff? Bonus is going to fall. What it gives you is scaling and raw power however.
Calculated Murder is based on
Technique is Everything, trading a bit of power for consistent results, and allowing Alanis to harness her INT. Of the Actions, only
Kinetic Slam is needed, the rest are all examples. But do note that they focus on dealing damage, and don't add other unnecessary attacks to her repertoire.
Solid Force is for magic-resistant foes.
Pent-Up Power is to punish anyone who dares seal Alanis' magic, I figured it'd be more interesting than to blow a Perk on something to protect it from locking effects.
Kinetic Mage is a reworked
Combat Expertise.
No defensive Perks or Actions, this build is about ensuring that Alanis has the highest DPS. She ought to consistently outdamage Mio with this. Because Mio is versatile, Mio is unyielding. Knock her down and she'll just get back up in a supermode. Lash out at her and her fairies will block it. Try to attack her mind and she'll resist. She'll survive even the vacuum of space. She could probably win a fight on her own.
This version of Alanis can't do that. She can't do any of that. She trades everything for raw damage. And so long as she has others to lean on, she ought to utterly obliterated anything that stands in their way. If they manage to keep her conscious, that is.
