Yep. That's it exactly. I think it was referenced once or twice in the thread before you joined? To be honest I have no idea why you guys keep on referring to Motya as him. I've been pretty consistent about referring to Motya as 'they', and their description is supposed to be rather androgynous... It says so right on the sheet. :v

I thought he was male because everyone else was referring to Motya as such and I was around for their origin story, as you said.

And for some reason, maybe my own assumptions, I thought Motya was quite muscular with a bald head and a prominent jaw. That all doesn't mean someone necessarily has to be a male though, and there might not any actual basis for it. :/

I think it's more the issue that, the people in these kinds of games just automatically assume that if doesn't look like some sort of stereotypical animu girl or something, it's male. I mean, notice how they automatically gravitate towards using male pronouns to refer to anything that lacks a gender or has no specified gender.

Nah, I'm fine with whatever you guys what to call Motya. I'm just pointing out how silly it seems to me. Unlike Alanis, they never switched genders or dropped them all together. Also English likes to default/drift towards male pronouns for neuter things so... Yeah. It's all cool.
