I replaced Son of the Lady in the Lake with Keep Your Calm, which makes Chartre immune to status effects that would disable his actions.

Usec, Calm down. Literally, the only Calcs that do not benefit from bonuses to a stat, are HP and INIT.

To further explain:

DEX determines INIT's Static Bonus to the roll. If Dex gets a bonus of say like 5, INIT does not get that bonus as well. INIT only gets a bonus if it alone gets a bonus. Example is Chartre, He has a bonus of +Level INIT. meaning he gets +6 to his INIT roll after his Dex is added.

Guys, I don't even mind, Chartre doesn't even have a non-magic ranged attack so his DEX is only used for INIT anyway

Lower it from immunity to either 25% or make it only one single Immunity instead of a range. example would be to make him immune to Magic Lock status effects, or a 25% chance to resist Action lock status effects.

Well, I suppose in the long run it's good for Chartre because he's less likely to see opposition that is immune to being disabled by HIS stuff
Actually, what is Magic Lock? Disabling Strike locks down magical abilities, but I'm realizing I'm not too clear on what it's mechanically defined as; I'm wondering if it's too vague and broad and if I shouldn't just change it to disabling the last ability that was used by the targeted opponent (and maybe at that point adding a turn cooldown, at least on the same opponent).

@Powder, Magic Lock is a status effect that locks down any Magical Action. So any abilities or Skills (minus basics) become unable to be used.

And Chartre's Semblance counts as magical for the purposes of that, right? That's basically what Keep Your Calm was supposed to prevent in the first place, so that's what it'll become. (that is, immunity to Magic Lock. I'll clarify Disabling Strike to just Magic Lock for three turns.)

Keep Your Calm: Chartre is immune to Magic Lock.

Disabling Strike (Active, Level 3): Chartre can focus his Semblance to the point of Mistrelle's melee form, dealing his melee attack and Magic Locking the opponent for three turns.
Level 2: Upgraded from one turn to two turns. Level 3: Upgraded from two turns to three turns.

(if the latter is OP, I think an easy solution would be a cooldown of every other turn or every third turn)
