He's not dominating combat because you're choosing not to let him do so. But he still is tankier than dedicated tanks, has multiple stats capped, and has a lot of healing.

You do know that Motya is a dedicated tank, right? His entire gimmick is that he's a heal tank. That's why he's so good at healing and is incredibly tanky.

And Ian's supposed to be a dedicated tank, and despite balance saying he should be better at that than Motya, he is in fact worse on pretty much all fronts.

A dedicated tank whose dedication to tanking is +3 RES and 5% HP regen when below 50% HP. Compared to Motya who has a perk to regen 10% HP every turn, automatically gains points into CON and has armour to increase their HP and RES. I think that the problem is less 'Motya is overpowered' and more 'Ian needs to be better at tanking'. Some good armour and a perk that actually helps with what he's supposed to be doing would go a long way towards improving his abilities.

You're cherry picking, I also put all the points I can into Ian's Constitution so he has the highest health possible without relying on bullshit Items, his abilities make him do better when he's getting damaged or hit by damage over time effects, and he can move negative effects over to himself. How is that not dedication to tanking?

Motya is HP / RES tanking and Ian is.. Effect tanking?
