@KJ, I never said that on level up effects for equipment were not allowed. However, at the end of Elf's plot, I may put out a fix for it if the playing field isn't evened out. I defer to Elf's Judgement otherwise.

I would be for it if those people were dominating combat because of it, but that is obviously not the case (unless you consider healing everyone to be dominating combat, in which case  you have a very odd definition of dominating combat). So a better solution would be to bump up Ian slightly by giving him some good armour and equipment.

He's not dominating combat because you're choosing not to let him do so. But he still is tankier than dedicated tanks, has multiple stats capped, and has a lot of healing.
