Wormhole (1) (Concentration):Alanis opens an up-to-SYN*SL ft. wide wormhole, which she must concentrate to maintain.  This wormhole may link any two sets of coordinates, but is limited by Alanis's ability to visualize the locations involved.  This means, basically, that this spell is limited to areas Alanis is rather familiar with, or that she can see, whether directly or indirectly.

A town Portal spell is not, as that kind of nulls a plot since It would be just "I open a portal back to the ship." Kinda deal.

For now, I'm going to Nope it until Elf gets back on.

Portals would have a maximum range, HP that drains each turn, and at level 1, would not be able to transport objects large than a human through. As well as any caveats that Elf wants to add.

Spoiler: Small White Gaster Blaster (click to show/hide)

This animated device resembles a skeletal dragon head, glowing eyes and mouth seeping with energy. When called upon by its user, they are called en masse using their translocative abilities aimed at wherever their user desires, firing a powerful beam of energy shortly afterwards. Gaster Blasters have a dog-like intelligence and loyalty to their creators, being animated devices of magic.

Small White Gaster Blaster
Small: Occupy 1 m² and fire a beam with a width of 1 m. When not using a battlemap, these beams proc a dodge roll with no advantage. You can summon a number of small Gaster Blasters equal to 2/SYN.
White: This Gaster Blaster deals 8+SYN damage.

This Gaster Blaster is summoned and oriented in one turn, and fires and can be reoriented the turn after.

Crafting: Crafting this Gaster Blaster requires any type of animating energy (captured soul, etc.), bones of 3 Lvl. 2 or greater creatures, and teleportation-type material or infusion (crystal, focus, etc.), and a magical energy source. And knowledge, of course.

Apply Restoration Kit,Rank 2: Uses one of the Healing kits to heal them for X% of their health each turn for 3 turns, including the one it was applied. the percentage healed is equal to the roll *2. Crit healing increases this to *3.

For the Republic, Rank 2: Upon activating, sets ENG into a martial trance, allowing for a second attack action for 3 turns. Ranged Attacks done while active inflict Suppression, lowering target DEX next turn. Melee attacks Grant parrying, Reducing incoming melee damage by the amount dealt from the attack(s) before enemy RES, but removing that damage from his attack(s). Blocks all escape rolls for ENG during it's active time, and applies a stacking -7 to escape rolls for 2 turns after trance ends, resetting if used again. 1 turn cooldown after trance ends.

Sure, maximum range sounds fair.  SYN*SL?  As for decay, I was making them a channeled spell (Alanis has to focus on maintaining the wormhole - and note the use of the term wormhole, please) being unable to do anything else.
