Appearance: An average-sized girl with a slight, almost waifish, build, Sandra's sickly pale skin and grayish-white hair gives her the appearance of someone more fitted to a hospital bed than anything else. Her aquamarine eyes permanently appear somewhat bloodshot, and her arms are riddled with small scars. Her gait is somewhat unsteady. In all, a frail-looking girl.
Of more immediate notice is the set of appendages protruding from her back: five twisted, two-meter-long pseudopods appearing to be raw muscle stretched over a spine-like structure, tipped with a barbed blade of bone. They undulate rhythmically, looking decidedly unpleasant, and can be moved like any other limb. As well as that, they appear to be able to stretch and retract.
In terms of clothing, Sandra's preferred wardrobe consists of loose, heavy clothing, scarves, hoods, and anything else that might cover as much of herself as possible. A constant factor, however, is a belt on which is a holder for several syringes full of some sort of drug or medicine.
Personality: Sandra appears, despite her often-intimidating clothing and her dangerous appendages, to be your average Shrinking Violet: shy, nervous and socially awkward. She rarely initiates conversation and often engages in decidedly non-social activities, such as reading (a particular passion of hers). Despite this antisocial demeanour, she is a kind, caring, and empathic person inwardly, and acts accordingly.
In combat, Sandra struggles to make even half-hearted attempts at attacks, guilt overriding killing intent and compassion defeating rage. She knows the things she could do in a fight, but she holds back for the sake of others, even her enemies.

Butchery (Level 1): A vicious assault with all five tentacles, causing horrific injury.
Deals three times standard melee damage plus Strength, and causes 2 points of bleeding damage a turn for the next (d6+1) turns.
Fleshlance (Level 1): One of Sandra's tentacles stretches to stab through a far-off opponent, the barbed tip dragging them back afterwards.
Has a range of (Sandra's level+1) tiles. Deals standard melee damage, and moves the opponent a number of tiles equal to Strength towards Sandra.
Saliva (Level 1): Sandra's saliva is a potent healing agent, capable of disinfecting and healing wounds within mere minutes, as well as being an antidote to several forms of poison.
When used on a living creature composed of flesh, this ability removes any negative biological effects (Bleeding, Poisoned, et cetera) and grants it regeneration of (d6+1) HP for 20 turns. Sandra must be adjacent to the target of this ability, and the ability itself takes two turns to use. The effect does not stack, subsequent uses instead resetting the number of turns left.
Bedtime (Level 2): Sandra stabs the target with a hypodermic syringe full of a potent anaesthetic. This deals 1d6 damage. One turn after use, this ability causes the opponent to take a -2 penalty to all stats for 4 turns. If an enemy is killed during this time, they are considered to have lapsed into unconsciousness (if applicable) rather than died.
Adrenaline Rush (Level 1): Sandra injects herself or someone else with adrenaline, granting the target a temporary boost in stats (+2 to all stats for 4 turns), but at the end of this duration the target suffers a -1 penalty to all stats for 2 turns.
Cocoon (Level 2): An odd, sticky substance oozes from Sandra's pores, encasing her in a somewhat tough white shell filled with rejuvenative fluids. This ability immobilises Sandra completely, and in exchange gives her regeneration of 10HP/round. Attacks on her whilst in the cocoon have their damage reduced by (2Con+Level (6) = 12). The move takes one turn of immobility to initiate and another turn to tear out of the cocoon.
