because having that perk is currently entirely fucking pointless and I'm kind of mad about having to rework a character for the third time

rule update approved by both GMs:

New stat cap calculation is 1.5(Level)+5. this means you all have new stat caps.

Level 1 is 6
Level 2 is 8
Level 3 is 9
Level 4 is 11
Level 5 is 13
Level 6 is 14

As you can see every even level raises the cap by 2, while odd levels raise it by 1.

Also, Stat booster caps are getting a hard cap now. As soon as it's determined :3

the GMs didn't like the fact that +stat perks disobeyed caps because a certain someone abused it, so those perks were getting nerfed

i discussed it with the GMs, and we decided that as a compromise, stat caps in general would go up so people could still specialize their characters with those limits in place (since all the +stat perk was doing if it didn't break the cap was allowing characters to raise tertiary or dump stats higher, which rendered them basically useless)

Stat Booster Nerf: +stat perks obey statcaps. You are restricted to 1 +Stat booster. This is because of the abuse. We have a character with three stat boosters :I this is not cool when you only have 6 stats.

Why not just say stat boosters obey caps like any reasonable person would assume?

Because it was abused. When you have three stat boosters, you have three stats always capped at max.
