Appearance:
A lady of average height, a frail build accentuated by the faint hints of sickly paleness. Her blonde hair is cut a shoulder length while alert green eyes seem to have a dullness to them, seemingly lacking the sparkle of life. She wears an angular longcoat in an abyssal black, with lightly armored trousers extending beneath and metallic gauntlets thin to the point of being seemingly worthless for protection.
Backstory:
The first word Cyrielle ever learned was “prognosis” whispered in hushed tones and silenced anguish in the dead of the night. Her condition was more or less, incurable. Though “life-threatening” was the official statement, there was little to no doubt that it would claim Cyrielle’s life; it was merely a matter of when. Cyrielle coped quite well in spite of death hanging over her like the Sword of Damocles; it was mainly due to a combination of apathy (he had the condition for as long as she could have remembered so she didn’t really “lose” anything she previously had) and a mildly nihilistic, yet positive outlook on life. She made friends quickly and participated in everything she could. Yet hidden from this picturesque childhood was a cold, sterile world of examinations, of desperate procedures and of grim verdicts. Cyrielle’s condition was quickly deteriorating; her life was slowly being strangled by the noose she prepared for herself: Cyrielle never wanted to die in a hospital bed, to fade slowly over the course of days, weeks or months. Rather, if she was going to perish, she’d rather burn herself out and die on her on terms in whatever short amount of time she had left, she was adamant to experience life as best as she could. Her life would be much shorter, yes, but in her mind at least, it was a better fate than to live in a death-like state within the open casket of a bed. Eventually, the inevitable occurred. There was no light at the end of the tunnel; but there was no fire either. Only an endless vo- Okay, you know the drill, Empi's decided once again to join one of these; they'll probably regret it soon enough, but in the meantime, here's my sheet, because of course I get strung along for this ride as well. Evidently it's a work in progress right now. For the rest of this sheet, I'll just serve as commenting.
Equipment:
Weapon - Distortion Rifle: ?d? Ranged Magical Damage. Cannot be lost. Autolevels. Adds (10 * Weapon Level)% DEX to Basic Attacks. Puts my DEX to use use other than just through initiative.
Armor - Abyssal Longcoat: Cannot be lost. Autolevels. Adds (1.5 * Armor Level) to RES. Literally just a rename of Aura.
Perks:
Fate-Linked: Add Cyrielle's Level to her SYN.
Stockpiled Magic: Grants Cyrielle the use of Distortion Tokens.
Sniper: Cyrielle has a 20% Critical Bonus.
-EMPTY-: Empi is still thinking about what to fill this slot with.
Basic Actions:
Basic Attack - Rending Shot: Attack using Distortion Rifle. I hope I don't need to explain this to you
Basic Defense - Swift Dash: Add DEX to RES. Effectively an unupgraded Juke.
Main Actions:
Consolidate Distortion: Generate one Distortion Token with Potency equal to Cyrille's SYN. Generates a unique resource, the reason for this whole "Potency" business is that it's means that Reactive Armor and Fate of All Life scale with this, so this governs both their potencies, with their own upgrades reserved for new effects. Well that's the idea at any rate, whether or not it'll actually work is up to you of course.
lvl. 1: Generate one Token, Potency is equal to 25% SYN
lvl. 2: Generate one Token, Potency is equal to 50% SYN
lvl. 3: Generate one Token, Potency is equal to 75% SYN
lvl. 4: Generate one Token, Potency is equal to 100% SYN
Reactive Armor: Sacrifice any number of Distortion Tokens to add 60% of their Total Potency as Shielding HP. Effectively Kinetic Shell, but weaker, with a less convoluted formula.
lvl. 1: Sacrifice any number of Tokens, to add 20% of their Total Potency as Shielding HP.
lvl. 2: Sacrifice any number of Tokens, add 40% of their Total Potency as Shielding HP.
lvl. 3: Sacrifice any number of Tokens, add 60% of their Total Potency as Shielding HP.
Fate of All Life: Sacrifice any number of Distortion Tokens, to inflict a Damage Over Time Effect that deals 60% of the Total Potency for 4 turns. Because apparently "Poison" wasn't unwieldy enough of a name. A more offensive use that steadily damages foes with high defenses, since their defenses won't matter as much to an ailment.
lvl. 1: Sacrifice any number of Tokens, to inflict a Damage Over Time Effect that deals 20% of their Total Potency for 4 turns.
lvl. 2: Sacrifice any number of Tokens, to inflict a Damage Over Time Effect that deals 40% of their Total Potency for 4 turns.
lvl. 3: Sacrifice any number of Tokens, to inflict a Damage Over Time Effect that deals 60% of their Total Potency for 4 turns.
Unload: Sacrifice any number of Distortion Tokens, and perform that number of Basic Attacks. Basically a way to "save" attacks for later when there's an opportunity to discharge all of them at once for burst damage, be it a defense debuff on the target, or a buff on yours truly.
lvl. 1: Sacrifice any number of Tokens, perform that number of Basic Attacks at 25% their normal damage.
lvl. 2: Sacrifice any number of Tokens, perform that number of Basic Attacks at 50% their normal damage.
lvl. 3: Sacrifice any number of Tokens, perform that number of Basic Attacks at 75% their normal damage.
lvl. 4: Sacrifice any number of Tokens, perform that number of Basic Attacks at 100% their normal damage.
Lock-On: The next direct damage-dealing Action Cyrielle uses on this target deals 2x damage. Not too hard to figure out what this is meant to be used with. Of course, since I don't have too mainly actions that fit into that criteria, it's possible to save it for later, so it's always possible to spook someone with it without making use of it immediately.
lvl. 1: The next direct damage-dealing Action Cyrielle uses on this target deals 2x damage.
