Edit: I also figured the bonus HP was damage that could be soaked by the magical girl form, so dropping below that would be damage that would carry over to the nonmagic form.

I'm against it, it makes HP way to high for everyone. And I'd take anything TBF says about HP with a grain of salt because he's on more than one occasion tried to get around the consequences of playing a glass cannon through system abuse.

Not really? Given the way that the system is set up, it'll actually drop everyone's HP down and make then squishier since you're no longer getting the (sum of) 1 to N bit to your HP. Plus, it's not like the PCs will be fighting each other often or that GMs can't compensate with the damage that their monsters do. I fail to see how this'll be such a terrible change.

Firstly, as USEC pointed out, it would actually make HP lower overall, just easier to calculate. After all, it is currently a sum of increasing numbers which make CON more potent the more you have, people will be less sturdier.

Secondly, obligatory ad hominem. Also don't most games with an HP system work this way? You know, something easy to calculate and statically scaling?

Thirdly, you forgot to add the words "and failed catastrophically" at the end of your ad hominem statement

To be clear about my suggestion, I was not suggesting removing the sum of all the levels portion of HP, but instead making the HP you get from CON dependent solely upon your current CON and not your past CON.

It was to prevent large HP sums... It was also being handled that way from the start and it didn't seem to cause any OP problems. HP was calculated as a flat without Bonuses to the Stat, because an item that gives you additional constitution doesn't add to your natural health... It didn't make any logical sense to having a piece of armor would suddenly give you a lot of vitality.... I mean yeah, Damage absorbtion, but not HP :/

EDIT: Maybe if it was magically enchanted. but not a mundane peice of armor...

In this case it is magic. More specifically a result of her magical girl transformation. If it's really an issue I suppose I could change to a RES bonus but that wouod push it to absurd levels.

I'm also not sure how to determine what CON i had at each level, though it's safe to assume it's going to be close to the max
