That use is intended for max level Statuses like whatever was happening to ITE, and mind-screwery,

They can use it before action lock though, since they also gain immunity to status effects.

We already know players are weak to stun because of Dackly's old build, which was honestly ONLY good for Team-killing in an ironic twist.

And that besides, Nobody in their right mind will have many enemies use stun for the same reason We can't use it on them, It's Dumb and boring.  Them stunning summons or minions is more of a threat though.

yeah, see, that example encounter is stupid, and even I get cringes at the idea of "You don't have immunity? LOL ur just bad."

If we can't omnistun bosses, why can bosses omnistun us? We aren't mooks.

Of course that encounter won't actually happen in-game, half my examples are just worst case scenarios taken to their logical extreme, but point is, if anyone does want to make a boss that exploits the party's weaknesses, then hitting multiple people with Status Effects is pretty much the obvious option.

Execution stacks to force characters to spend their turns removing them from the Glass Cannons, 1 Turn RES Breaks or Action Locks to dissuade the Tanks, or just weak Poison/Burn to whittle everyone down exploiting the fact that it will take time to remove it from everyone and that the party lacks reliable mass healing. And if there actually were any Buffers or Debuffers, a well-timed Freeze (in the style of Anna's Action) could really mess them up.

Come to think of it I think the party lacks any real way to handle foes that self-buff, save for Heavenward Strike which only works for offensive Stat buffs and not damage bonuses or defensive buffs.

Better to make items for it, since full skills or perks are useless or situational at best for dealing with status effects and buffs that thus far have not really appeared in any inhibiting manner.

Like the pills D&G and Sandra have made that apparently nobody cares about at all.

Yeah, it's really, odd seeing armor in an RPG-style forum game which offer no status resistances at all considering how easy it is to inflict them. And yes, would be nice to see a weapon upgrade or something that can dispel or steal buffs from foes.

Aight Emp, as soon as the crafting rework goes through, I plan to make tons of Shield orbitals for everyone as a Bauble anyway, I might be able to include a status-cure for the !not!summons, want to throw around ideas for them?

Idea 1:  Stone + Geomancy + Levitation Crystals bought or made with another players help + Something to resist status effects

Name of Bauble: Level 1 Geoshield Option
Effects: +2 RES, attempts to cure (status) on a 2 turn cooldown
Description: A small floating stone shield, it protects the user and has a purifying effect on them.
