Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

The tiger gave a snort as if amused and padded over to the unconscious man on the floor.

Nudge him until he stirs.

Sokratei shook her head, calling out in a challenging tone.

"Don't tell me you're scared. Tam is nice enough to friends-so am I. You're a man who needs to learn some patience...and some grace. Tam taught me the first and the second, and I taught her how to count money and watch the stars. We're a good team, and we watch out for each other...we don't mean to frighten anyone...well, not on purpose..."

"What is she," Nix asks, eyes locked on Tam.

"She's a tiger, obviously. Can't you see the stripes on her back?"

Sokratei helpfully points them out.

To help him see, Tam Barl Daar paced towards him slowly, tail lashing the air.

Tradok dismounts his horse after encountering the others.
 "They dead, yes?"

"It's not they can't count, it's just they don't often see the need to count very high-since they can kill anything nearly anything in a one-on-one fight. Anything more than one, they usually have to be cunning about it.

Tama already knew how to count, pretty much because she's always cunning. I just taught her the finer points of economics."

The tiger flicked her ears in amusement, as if to agree with the horned girl.

"Alright, enough standing around..." Sokratei said, losing patience.

Action: Begin poking the man until he wakes up. Or is he dead?

"Can we rob him before/if he wakes up?"
Nix looks up, already hands deep in the unconscious man's pockets. "Wait, what?"

"Indeed." She says, beginning to walk with him. "Do you... know what happened? All I remember of last night is fire and screaming, before I woke up in a ruin."
