She then gets up and wanders over to what appears to be the only people left alive. "Do you have any clue as to what transpired last night?"

Sokratei surveyed the short woman who had approached them, then shook her head the question.

"When it happened, I was more interested in the BBQ and the male company, to be honest. There was alot of fire...and screaming...I'm not sure what  at all occurred.

...Do you really think it could have been a Dragon? That would be a mighty coincidence...my mother was recently killed by a Dragon..."
She asked, sighing.

Tam Barl Daar endured the fussing, nuzzling up against the horned girl's hand. Still, her tail waved in agitation as she inspected Sokre's own person for any injuries... she did not have the tiger's supernatural toughness, after all.

In regards to her inspection, she would find that Sokratei seems to have sustained signifcant surface damage-her clothes are shredded-had she been an ordinary person, she probably would have died of internal injuries-but, Sokrateis own skin is a bit tough and stronger than any normal human due to her Satyr heritage, and Tam Barl Daar can see the bright silver glint of the enchanted mithril chain shirt the woman often wears that protected her from the worst of it. Sadly, the tip of her spiraling left horn seems to have cleanly sheared off at a straight angle, almost as if someone took a souvenir...

The tiger growled at the damage the horned girl had suffered - particularly the horn! Though....

She twitched her right ear, the one with the missing tip. Time and erosion had robbed Tam Barl Daar of it long ago... so at least they somewhat matched in that regard. She curled her tail around the horned girl's waist in sympathy.

The Tiger was awake. The horned girl would be safe now.

"Not sure, really. I'm more thankful we're simply alive honestly. I say we look around for any clues as to what the hells happened last night."

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

Sokratei placed a gentle hand on the tigers tail in friendship.

"Really, I don't care if it was a Dragon, a Mad Wizard with a flaming beard, or a swarm of Monkeybees...

Let's try to find some answers, then get the nine-hells out of here before they come back."

She turned to the person who has not introduced herself yet.

"If you want to stay alive, you'll come with us! Just until we're all safe, it's better to stick together, don't you agree?

My name is Soratei, by and by. My feline friend has a name as well, but you have to earn her respect to know it."

Tam Barl Daar bounded forward, sniffing around. Maybe scent would give an idea.

Using scent, are there any odd smells to give a hint as to what happened? What happened to other people, like the innkeeper?

It smells and looks like the inn burned down. You six appear to have been the only survivors of the fire.

You don't find any clues here. Whatever or whoever burned the building down made a clean getaway.
Nix nods purposefully for Merle to go drop in on their conversation, while finding a place to hide.
You find a convenient empty wooden box near the back door of the mostly-intact building you're standing behind. You use it to move closer to the voices while remaining concealed. You can hear their conversation now.

"...but I 'ear 'eh boss 'll give a pretty price for 'is 'ead, eheheh."
"'En let's go fin' 'im!"

You hear footsteps moving away from the building in the opposite direction you came from.
Tradok mounted his horse and rode throughout the ruined town in search of life, friend or foe.
Heading opposite from the direction the puny man went, you call out for anybody who may be present.

Eventually, you hear a low moan from a mostly-intact wooden hovel, but you can't see inside the building.

Tradok dismounts from his horse and does what any reasonable half-orc barbarian would do:
Politely open the door and call inside.

"Nothing. Looks like whoever was behind this made sure to be thorough-well except he didn't get us too."

Elise moves to searching the rest of the town, looking for clues and anyone who might be still alive, possibly in the direction Nix went.

"Maybe they didn't get us for a reason?"

Action: Follow Elise!

Also, back action-make sure I pocket any valuables I found during my search...

Nix, with his box, follows along behind the two foreigners. He also pulls a knife out of his belt, just in case.

Tam, of course, followed besides the horned girl, eyes twitching at every sound.

Politely open the door and call inside.
You hear a low grunt from inside.

In a back room of the inn, undamaged save for a partially collapsed roof, a cleric awakens...

Sokratei ducked down alongside the box, her legs bending at an odd angle...

"I bet those are looters! We should loot them! They also probably know who blew up the town. We should blow THEM up!' She said, embracing the circular logic for which she was best known.

After a bit of discussion, she embraced her chaotic nature and began creeping forward-from tiptoe to tiptoe, like a dancer, sliding from the shadows with a practiced ease. Not a sound could be heard, as her gear was especially muffled and designed to help her skulk about. Anyone who is perceptive enough would notice there is something subtly...inhuman about the young horned woman. She moves like a creeping beast more than a human-seeming almost more comfortable like this, than she is walking about upright.

Action: Sneak forward and use my shortbow on one of them in sneak attack range.

--Meanwhile--

Kira blinks at the ceiling. Or rather, the lack thereof. What happened...? She thinks, sitting up.

She tries to remember what happened last night, and looks around the room.

The box quietly grumbles when it realizes someone is using it for cover, "Oy! Bugger off! You'll give me away!"
