One hour later, deep in the Arvadian Glade...

Prince Titon ordered another stop. With Chalco on Captain's horse and with Vera and/or Alice occupying the pegasus in turns, there was a bit of crowding problem and some had to run. Like Titon, who valiantly denied being lifted by a mount for even a second - but even a long distance runner like him gets to tire...

"Just... give me five minutes."

[Culise]

Obligingly, Lizbet brought Alauda down to the ground, letting her passenger off.  As Alauda took advantage of the moment to graze through the undergrowth, she walked over to the prince. 

"Prince Titon, either Captain Orena or I can carry you for a time.  Even you cannot keep up this pace forever."

[Haspen]

"...I think you might be right."

Meanwhile...

"I'm telling ya, this is a bad idea..."

"Are you a coward? Just imagine - the rookies of 22nd Wing, by themselves, slaying the traitor prince and his lackeys. Can you imagine the glorious heap of promotions we will get?? Now sound the horn, time to do some killing." The short sound of the horn startled Lizbeth's pegasus just as it did the Prince. His face got pale as suddenly four wyvern riders burst from behind the trees!

"Shit! We have been discovered!"
