"Well yeah, but what? And why are you doing it all by yourself? I mean, the story of the handsome and strong man taking on an entire group of bandits sure sounds nice, but it's also kinda stupid if you get yourself killed, you know?"

"Maybe, but I'm all alone in this world and I'll be damned if someone's gonna steal my coat and get away with it."

"... Your coat. You... you were going to take on an entire bandit camp. Just to get a coat back?"

"Well, that wasn't the original plan." Santoku admitted, adjusting the placement of the sword he was carrying. "First plan was to steal it back. But after I managed to sneak in I couldn't find it, so I took this sword instead. It looked pretty valuable compared to everything else in the room. I was going to try and arrange an exchange and then kill their leader and bolt after I had my coat, but then you guys showed up. I figure this is going to work a lot better."

Iolani stared at the man for a few seconds before sighing and shaking her head.

"At least you'll fit in well here..."
