"Just 'Lord Chalco' will do. You don't need to grovel." He glanced back at Titus and friend. "You don't seem the same sort of character as the pair of brigands back there."

"Right... and I.. suppose I am a different character. ..I don't enjoy many things, like robbery, as much as they do. N-not that they rob anyone, Lord Chalco." Often.

"W-well, they don't... they joke, you see, and people don't always... take it as such..."

She rolled her eyes and headed off towards Titus and Cyrus.

"They brought some new weapons back. I think I spotted an axe if one of you two wants it."

"BACK and bearing GIFTS, are yah? And our FAVORITE KIND! Instruments of DEATH! QUICKEST way to our heart, princess, 'fact to the heart of ANY man with some EFFORT! HahaHAH!" Titus rumbled with a laugh and pushed Cyrus forward.

"All yours! MINE just needs some GRINDIN' at the STONE but YOU got that WEE THING! Can't even put your WEIGHT into IT!"

"Now that everyone is ready, let's continue." And they all went eastwards, confident they will reach Carn without problems.

But, five minutes later...

"Your Highness, I have a feeling someone's watching us."

"Hmmm... ah." Suddenly bandits and thugs and the likes began to leave their hideouts. Two rather imposing ones bellowed.

"Oh look, my dear Cillion, little birdies walked right into our ambush."

"Mh-hrrrm."

"We gonna squish them till they bleed their valuables out!"

"Mh-hrrrm!"

"And then have a little guts jam spread on bread. Mm, spread guts."

"The best, Dorran, the best!"

"And let's not forget to make bone jewellery this time."

"Mh-hrrrm!"

"FOR MURDER AND PLUNDER, FOR WE ARE THE KINGS OF BANDITRY~!" Some muscle flexing was involved here, as well.

Lian drummed her fingers on the newly acquired Iron Lance, glancing at Sen briefly.
: "Indeed, or at least they will be in a moment."
A smile slowly crept onto her face as she looked over the bandit leaders.
: "Funny. I wasn't even looking for them. Seems coincidences work in my favor."

Titus was first amused at the bandits, beautiful nostalgia flooding in with the large man nudging Cyrus with a laugh. Bandits have little love for those outside their group, is true, but its hard to not share a brief sense of amusement in seeing how other groups perform. A solid seven point fiv--

"..." Blubber mountain glanced at Cyrus, to the two bandit leaders, then back to Cyrus.

"Did they just SERIOUSLY...?" Titus quivered, his eyes narrowing. The large man took in a deep breath of calming air... And let it out.

"Bandit kings? Bandit KINGS? Did I HEAR you RIGHT?" The man extended to his full height, axe out and against his shoulder with a white-knuckled grip as a toothy grin slashed across his face. "FRIENDS. PALS. PRETENDERS! You do NOT know how LUCKY! You ARE! TODAY!"

The large man interrupted himself with a sighed and his smile turned amused, shrugging towards the two to Cyrus. "BANDITS these days, eh? LACK of CLASS! NO PIZZAZZ! No STYLE!"

The large man stood up even taller, somehow, and stared the two down like he did new recruits years ago. Eyes sharp and steely, demanding command. "PFftHAH! Gut jam? REALLY? IF your GOING to be taking THAT TITLE, you gotta have BETTER THAN THAT! Damn right EMBARRASSING, IT IS, AIN'T it CYRUS?! So WELCOME TO CLASS! First lesson is NOW, payment is LATER!"

Titus pitched a finger towards the sky and wagged it at them. "You should be SHOUTING that WE'RE gonna EAT our OWN LIVERS GARNISHED in FINEST SAUCES of our HUMORS as an APPETIZER! THEN! Our MAIN MEAL will be our OWN RIBS, WELL SEARED and CHOPPED with a BRAIN FRICASSEE on the FINEST SCRIMSHAW PLATES! A MEAL fit for KINGS!"

"Now SHOUT BACK what I JUST SAID or SOMETHING BETTER if'yer BRAIN MEATS can RUB TOGETHER! Come ON, CHOP-CHOP! You got a LOT of WORK TO DO before you're ready for THAT TITLE, YOUNGIN'S! ONLY LESSONS yer GETTIN' and I DON'T have MUCH PATIENCE 'fore my HAIR GRAYS!" The heavy man hunched his back and leaned on his axe like a cane, grinning wider at the two expectantly.
