"Hmmph. If she is, she's got a damned strange way of showing it." He crossed his arms."Even if it was true, this is far from any time for romance."

[Swordstar]

"Oh, come on. Surely there's always time for romance. It gives you something to fight for, something to live for! It's about taking the opportunities given to you and running with them. Trust me, it's so much more fun when you take some time to relax and... destress~"

[GiglameshDespair]

"I'm sure I'm unstressed enough! There's little enough time to relax, either, until the whole business is dealt with."

[Swordstar]

Iolani sighed and shook her head.

"Someone needs to teach you how to enjoy life a little more..."

[GiglameshDespair]

"There's nothing I need to be taught! I'm perfectly capable of relaxing and enjoying life!"

[Swordstar]

Iolani patted the man on the shoulder.

"Of course you do. I'm sorry for ever having doubted you."

She barely managed to keep a straight face.

[GiglameshDespair]

"Wha - don't pat me! " He stepped back a little from the flirtatious woman and glowered (as best as someone who's face could not be seen could) down at Iolani.  "Perhaps you think I'm joyless, but I can tell when I'm being mocked."

[Swordstar]

Iolani coughed to cover a laugh and then nodded.

"You're right. I apologize. I should not have teased you. Just because you are always focused and never interested in relaxing now does not mean that you never are. Though you may want to consider letting down your guard slightly and enjoying life even while on this mission. You might even find that other people enjoy spending time with you when you take a chance to relax and laugh."

[GiglameshDespair]

Chalco sighed and gave in.
"I suppose we'll be reasonably safe for the time being... I could try relaxing a tad."

[Swordstar]

Iolani smirked slightly and commented,

"I somehow suspect my idea of relaxing and your idea of relaxing are slightly different but that's good. Taking time every day to enjoy life is a good thing."

[GiglameshDespair]

"I... imagine so, yes." Miss Iolani had a remarkably one-track mind.

Still, he paused. For all his talk of relaxing, he had no access to any metalwork, and it'd probably be unwise to get too far away from these oafs as well.
"I almost dread the answer, but what do you do to relax, besides your baser motivations?"

[Swordstar]

Iolani couldn't help but laughing at the man's question.

"That's now what it's all about. It's just so much fun to tease you that I couldn't help myself. As for other things, I enjoy horseback riding, spending time out in nature, spending time with friends, those sorts of things. Just being around people and not worrying about things that we need to do."

[SOLDIER First]

"Reading is also... relaxing.. _{I do it sometimes."}

Titus saw the situation defuse with a 'bah,' setting up to his feet with ponderous movements. Axe in hand, he twirled it around deftly before sliding it into its holster at his hip. Too large of a weapon for a normal man to have at his side 'stead his back, but Titus was no normal man. Heavy hands on his hips, he glanced around at Cyrus, Galen, the obnoxious presence of the city guard, and the others.

"Feh. THIS isn't proper DOWN time at ALL." The mountain of blubber commented to nobody in particular, wracking his brain for some of his more popular down-time events that would be passable with nearby law enforcement.

Titus drew a blank. Well, actually...

"GALEN! Friend and PAL!"
