Alice looked over the weapons a slight frown on her face as she studied them,
"No, sadly"

There she went again.

"Well, hopefully, we'll avoid any such contact while I'm in armour." Chalco said a little stiffly, then realised the unintentional innuendo in his words. "Or at all." he added hastily and diverted the conversation.
"Besides, what about the rings? Such a enchantment could be useful."

[Swordstar]

"Aw, well you're just no fun, hmm?"

She sighed dramatically and glanced over the rings.

"I suppose they could be useful. This is a fairly new tome, so I guess I don't need a new one. So I guess we should do what's best for the group and such."

[Twinwolf]

How about we just go around and see what each shop has to offer? As in, look for the remaining useful shops.

"My duty means others have to come before myself."
He paused and looked back into the crowd.
"Hopefully the Prince isn't doing some half-baked plan while I'm away."

"Well if you're so worried, you could always go back and check on him. I mean... it's not like I could possibly get into any trouble here all by my lonesome...~"

"Hmmph. I offered you my protection, didn't I? I'm not going to break my word." He sighed. "Besides, it wouldn't be right to leave a woman alone in an unknown city."

Cyrus turned to look at the man who had actually had the stones to approach the trio. He'd seen others who turned right around when he and Titus so much as glanced at them.

"Depends on the work. We don't want to babysit no weakling who can't even lift a weapon, right Titus?"

"It's got to be exciting, if you know what I mean."

"While the protecting the innocent woman routine is nice and all, you do realize that I'm perfectly capable of protecting myself in most cases? I'm the daughter of the leader of the Silvermane tribe. I was hired as a mercenary to protect the son and daughter of Lord Sapis. I do know what I'm doing for the most part. So if you need to go check on your prince, by all means, go ahead and do so."

[SOLDIER First]

"Not too exciting.."

"I'm sure we meeting when you were being chased by half a brigade of cavalry is one of the outside cases? Besides that, what about three brigands? Five? Criminals rarely are chivalrous enough to attack one-to-one." he paused for a moment, then sighed.  "Well, do what you'd like. You're a free woman."

He turned to go and check on the Prince.

"Well the guy in question can handle his knives and the amount of people who so far went after his head could garrison a castle or two, so yeah, I'm guessing it's exciting enough." Odysios rubbed his nose.

"He needs few more bodyguards to get him to Carn Fortress and he asked for axemen so. Lamb-eyes can come along, provided he can fight?"

Galen frowned. He wasn't that young.

"I know my way around tomes.. well enough. Will that work?"
He presents the dark book in his lap.

Iolani sighed. The tome was an upgrade but probably not worth it. The ring though... She bought the combat ring and then hesitated. Sighing again, she followed after Chalco. He had just been trying to help her after all. She followed a bit behind him, close enough she wouldn't lose him but not quite close enough to admit that she shouldn't have pushed him away.
