Lian held her off-arm out, thumb up and one eye closed, like a painter scaling their subject, "Well, regardless, you ought to try it sometime. It might broaden up your horizons... Loosen up that bronze-encased skull, hm?"

"What are you even prattling about, you rapscallion? Did you take a blow to the head in the battle? By the forges of heaven, still your tongue, or perhaps I'll loosen up your skull with this bronze!"

Lian sighed, smirk still present.
: "Not much fun, hm..? Oh well. At least try to bear some mercy towards the scaly whelp." She angled her head towards the stable before lifting her lance over her shoulders and making her way around the eastern side of the tower.

"Shut up!" Titon's sudden shout startled the cool-headed Captain Orena. She didn't say anything.

"Apologies. I'm... jittery." With a sigh, he moved away, rubbing his face and thinking still.

Vera clears her throat.
"I agree with the Prince. I believe this can wait until we know for certain we are safe."

Sen prods one of the fallen warriors with his boot.
"Unless this lot sees fit to stand back up again and run us through, I'd say we're safe as can be for the moment."

"True, but remember that Captain Trakia escaped our previous engagement. She could have gone to get reinforcements."

Chalco turned his head to look at Titon.

"...You too, Prince? Hmph. For our friendship, your apology is accepted." Muffled by his helm, he muttered. "_{This time. Hmph. No respect, the lot of them...}"

He clanked into the stables to inspect the wyvern.

"She most likely did. However, we've earned ourselves a mere hour or two of respite, at least. I doubt that even wyvern squads could reach us until then."


He pauses, his brow furrowing for a moment.
"Hey - hey! Niccola! What's your total so far?"

A confident smile formed on Niccola's face as Sen asked this.
: "I'm at five right now. How about you?"
We are counting crits, right?

Alice let the others take the weapons, she let out a small sigh and sat down at the base of a tree watching the others.

"Not great odds, I've only go three so far." Sen said, sighing wistfully. "Still plenty of time before we hit a tavern, though."

Niccola nodded.
: "Uhuh. We'll probably will be on the run for a while."

After a short moment of silence, Niccola spoke tauntingly:
: "I'm not going to let you catch up though."

"Well, you say that now, but - for if I catch up, and I think we both know I will -" Sen said, ending on a lilting note.


"I've always been fond of Kozanthikon wine. But, failing that, I can do ale. I'm not too picky on the type. You can remember that, right?"

Niccola did a mock salute before replying
: "Got it! I like being surprised, so that's easy too."
